Romantic Seaside Wedding with Dazzling Waterfall Fireworks at Hua Hin Marriott Resort & Spa

Hua Hin Marriott Resort & Spa, Luxurious Seaside Hotel

       While searching for my wedding venue, I’d explored many places but my final decision was Hua Hin Marriott Resort & Spa. I’d stayed here before and liked their food as it was delicious and there were many varieties to choose from. The 
service was excellent which made for a very nice overall environment. In organizing the wedding reception here, the hotel has a room reserved just in case it rains on the day of the reception. The sales team and I totally hit it off, so I was very impressed.

A Simple but Warm Wedding

       We needed simplicity and wanted the wedding to feel warm. Therefore, we focused on using brown tones. The venue was decorated with beautiful branches, pictures and our everyday personal effects to tell our story. These were done with the help of our friends and hotel staffs. When the guests arrived at the venue, they will find the registration table. Nearby, there’s welcome sign and shoes removing sign.

       Inside the venue, we’ve arranged a backdrop corner for photography, which was simply decorated with wooden pools, ropes and ribbons. There was an arch for the ceremony in the middle.

       For food, we’ve hosted long tables, buffet reception and added food kiosks around the venue. This method was suitable for our wedding that had guests from different age range. Everyone can choose to eat according to their preferences from the wide selection the hotel has provided in which we can also adjust or add other menus as well.

       For souvenirs, we decided to go with pictures and picture frames because we wanted the guests to have a picture from our wedding back. On the wedding day, everyone will receive a picture frame first. After the wedding, we will send a picture of the guests that was taken at the backdrop to them.

Simple Ceremony just like a Get-Together

       Our wedding was very simple - there was no ceremony. It’s more like an event where friends gather to meet, talk and have dinner together. For the bride and groom entrance, we asked our friend to sing and play guitar for us. Then, we greeted and thanked the guests, followed by toasts from our close friends.

       We wanted the guests to have memorable night. I like fireworks and the venue was on the beach so we thought we should have some fireworks to get beautiful photographs. Therefore, at the end of the ceremony, there were fireworks and our first dance with the dazzling waterfall fireworks.

       We were really impressed by everyone. The fact that we’re not from Hua Hin meant that guests must intend to come to our wedding at Hua Hin specifically and they were all willing to come.

       From just providing references to the hotel, they were able to arrange what defines us. The atmosphere came out warm and decorated just as we wanted it to be. I was really impressed and happy.

Tips from Bride and Groom

Discuss the type of venue together beforehand: Talk to the hotel’s sales team afterwards. This will help make the job easier, resolving going back and forth and growing budget issues.

Check your sequences properly: If you don’t have a wedding planner,the plan the sequence of events to be flexible as they may need to change.
